Yes, ball is dead and the runners return to their respectable bases, unless they are forced up.

Nothing going on after five in LA vs Dodgers dude just up from AA, but I’d be surprised if he goes any longer.

EDIT: Emmet Sheehan with six no-hit innings and 89 pitches and he’s done.

And of course his replacement immediately screws it up.

I'd be more worried about next season than this one.

And the Giants end up winning with the help of some Little League defense (by the Giants) and Little League baserunning (by the Dodgers) on the same play.

    Carlton should be in already.

Gussie’s biggest mistake as an owner.

That was the best possible outcome the Giants could have hoped for after the overthrow to first. OK, maybe second best behind Betts inexplicably wandering off third at the end.

Angels had an 8-2 lead in the seventh in KC and lost 10-9 after the pen gives up seven runs in the final three innings.
Just when they had something going, they remember they’re the Angels.
Two horrendous losses by the LA teams in the last 18 hours.

Good for him. I don't like the Cardinals, but they've had some great players and he's not one of them, one great WS notwithstanding.
