We're halfway through the season and it seems like there is a lot of streaking going on - both sides of the ledger. Weird.

 

Hmm. I guess I have to eat my words about the Giants*. Pleasant surprise.


*At least until the entire bullpen needs Tommy John by August for being overworked.

 

Well, these blow.

 

The sound of PGH spoken aloud is how I feel about those.

 

They left out the "U" as the second letter.

 

With the possible exception of the Mariners, they ALL blow as much as anything can possibly blow. A perfect summation of MLB in 2023.

 

I blame the NBA for the three-letter thing. Which I find incredibly stupid.

 

Did Fred Lynn shrink? For a second, Joe Pesci popped into my head. Guess I don't remember Grich, in particular, being taller than Lynn. Thanks for sharing, BTW.

 

The Rockies and Giants' city connects are nice. The Dodgers look like they're wearing dark blue jammies. But for the worst, run for the border for the rainbow sherbet Padres.

 

You're right, the Rockies are OK. Giants & Dodgers are meh, whatever. The Padres would have been great for the Marlins.

 

I’m not a fan of the black pants. They particularly look ridiculous on Scott Servais.
