I once worked at a job where they had a bunch of grain elevators that would occasionally require someone to be on top of or inside of.
I am 2 things. Scared of heights and claustrophobic to extreme measures. I told the guys that there are two things that you’ll never see……On top of a grain elevator or inside a grain elevator.
I can’t even imagine what it was like in that sub.
3 pounds of shit in a 2 pound can.

I still can’t fathom why someone would spend piles of money on a sub to go to the depths of the ocean, only to get down there and they all 5 look at each other to say “Well son of a bitch, it’s still here.”
It’s not like someone was going to latch a chain onto it and bring it to surface.

It was good at first, but then it went too far.

Why so long to find it? It was 15 minutes from Tahoe.

    YEAH, I SAID IT.

The only difference between the original Titanic and now is that the treasure will be found on dry land.

    After all the lawsuits.

If that happened I wouldn't complain of she kept her shirt on.

Would bring a new meaning to "he died doing what he loved."

No miracles to be had here. Their deaths were very likely instantaneous and painless.

All of these stories assume that they had no knowledge the thing would collapse before it did. Maybe. Maybe not.

Obviously when it did collapse, it was instantaneous, but if they knew there was a flaw before it happened where implosion was inevitable? That would be a special kind of suck to wonder when I was going to be crushed by sea pressure like Bluto from Animal House busting a beer can on his head.
