Yes, I think the clear route is to move one or two infielders soon to pick up some pitching. Adam Frazier: Rent, don't buy.

 

At least Frazier has put up semi-respectable numbers so far this year so someone might be interested.

The way he played in Seattle last year, the Mariners couldn’t have given him away. Of course, Kolton Wong hasn’t been any better.

 

Didn’t you want to buy last year? Trading Mancini was going to kill this team I heard.

 

Frazier, again, has been one of those guys who puts up sub-par numbers ... but contributes positively almost every time I see him. Statistics are not his friend.

 

The Scott Fletcher effect. In one of his very early abstracts, James devotes considerable time praising Fletcher, a pretty non-descript journeyman player. Turns out every single team Fletcher was traded to over the course of his career won more games than the year before, and every team he left did worse.

 

Someone has had enough.
