Xenophobia and weak vs. strong Federal government has been at the center of American politics since the Revolution.

Yeah but which way does the GOP want it?? Weak Fed govt ("don't tell us that we have to treat people equal when you give us $$") or strong Fed ("let's make it a federal crime to have an abortion!)

No, it doesn't. Not all business services involve speech.

Hey, isn't that the guy we used to give the finger to as he walked away at the college party?

If Smith and the ADF started this thing with a lawsuit in Colorado, then if I’m Colorado, I seek perjury charges.

I think, unfortunately, this will be played as "Biden didn't forgive our loans."

Just wait. This is the beginning of what will be allowed pursuant to religious exceptions.

And when they all coming flooding in, evangelicals will still be mad because they need to feel persecuted the way you and I need to breathe air.

See, I think this will lead to an entrenchment of companies becoming more "political" whether they want to be or not. We've already seen My Pillow lean on the righty market and other companies touting their inclusiveness. Maybe a Better Business Bureau type group will develop so people can spend their money on businesses in-line with their politics.

Not a fan of these supreme court decisions, but I do think there are "work-arounds" - this SC likes to play word games to not avoid appearing as partisan as they are. Pass a bill making student loan payments tax-deductible, like mortgage interest.
