Used to have it on the DVR with the rest of the Arrowverse. Used to love it. Then around the time they spun off Legends, it started getting silly. Then during shelter in place, I found other things to watch and just couldn’t bring myself to come back to it.

Do think if you like Flash, Arrow and Supergirl are with your time for a few seasons.

I am enjoying Lazarus Project. If you like time travel yarns, so far I find it better than the new Quantum Leap

Catching up on Condor - one of those short and sweet two-season wonders. Based on the movie starring Redford, a great cast, quickly paced - one of those shows streamers spent big bucks on when they launched to get people on the hook and then dumped once it either didn't work, or wasn't needed anymore.

Finished Black Mirror, fun ride, but only 5 episodes?? Oh why? Wish there were more. Last one is the weakest IMHO.

I'm sure her aunt and uncle are so proud. It was gratifying to see the person she tried to insult laugh off her words. One point that came up online: She's related by blood to her aunt and yet they connected her to her uncle. Was it her choice? Hmmm...

On another note... I just saw the first episode of The Bear. Wow. Just. Wow. It hit some of the sweet spots. It was a visual love letter to a city. There were the indications of family/vocational/and regional traditions. The more realistic aspects of cooking porn were there as well. The script, acting, and direction were tight. It didn't coast to a stop so much as it screeched to one. I needed to catch my breath. Also, as much as I sympathized with Carmy's reaction to his cousin, I still liked him and figured he had some good points. His reaction to Carmy's sandwich and how he handled the gamer mob won me over.

Just finished episode 7. The absolute claustrophobic shitshow chaos of episode 6 and then the amazing end of episode cameo at the end of episode 7. Wow.

It was such a good 1-2 combo of chaos and order. And Richie carried the episode better than I’d have guessed. And that cameo tho

We caught up on Platonic on Apple. I really like it. Fun and pleasant. It knows what it is. And I’m a sucker for the Seth Rogan rage-anxiety induced insults. They land with me.

No spillers, but in the most recent episode, the actor who plays a personal assistant to “Johnny Rev” is the same actor who played Darin, Kramer’s assistant on that Seinfeld episode. The Kramerica/Ball of oil episode.

He was pretty much asked to play the same character 25 years later. Loved that. Brilliant.

Damn I’m soooooo glad holidays were NOT a tinderbox of family conflicts, jeez how do people survive that??

    Ep 7 was very touching.

Finished the season of the Bear. Couldn’t turn it off. My only complaint is that it didn’t have an 11th episode. I need to know what happens next.

I just hope the writer’s strike doesn’t mess up season 3.
