9:30 am weekdays. In college, the girlfriend would usually stay over and I’d kick her out so I could watch Kiana. I remember one semester where I didn’t have class this early so I could watch Kiana on espn2 with my breakfast.

Same, except for having a GF to kick out. WTF?
Props to you. Clearly you are a man of conviction so I have no doubt you will have success in your next chapter. Best wishes.

By 9:30 am, I was already “done” with the gf. Needed to reload with my bagels and my Kiana for the next phase of my day. :)

In the morning, they simulcast the news on both stations but with different commercials.

A question for the board: What does it say about me if I more or less shrugged at the recent round of layoffs? Having been at outlets, both at the print and multimedia levels, that have been gutted over the years, is it bad that I'm essentially numb to layoffs unless I personally know the folks affected?

Screamin’ A Smith laughs and takes a Scrooge McDuck-style dive into his vault full of money.

I've never heard of him. Seems completely disposable to me.

I think they’re all disposable, really, except maybe the Manning cast. Even Buck and Aikman. No ones watching for the announce team.

The Manning Cast is niche and was nowhere near as popular as the first year. If they disappeared, no one would care.

Ryan Clark is a splendid guy. kind of dude you'd want your daughter to marry.
