True. When do they usually announce that? Is it Wrestlemania weekend, or a bit before that?

 

I think they usually make it official around then. Which means they do a lot of the groundwork before they officially announce.

 

That finish to the women’s MITB was awesome.

 

This has been a really well booked show and that finish was clever as hell A+++++

 

Wow. I figured Solo would taken the pin today, and the first Roman pin would've come in a 1-on-1 for the belts. But a huge moment that has to set up Jey vs. Roman at SummerSlam.

 

I cannot believe they beat Roman. And his team has lost 2 main events in a row.

hes gotta blame solo and start unraveling that too? Or does he?

 

Is it too early for AEW to retool the Collision announce team? I feel like I’m watching an Impact webcast on YouTube.

 

Hopefully JR will be able to help once he heals up? Although he may be beyond the ability to do it well

 

JR is great and has done wonders for the business, but his time has passed. Whether there's a problem with drinking, continued depression over his wife's passing, or if it's a mixture of the effect on his speech from Bell's Palsy and his other health issues, he just doesn't have it anymore. I don't think he can be fast on his feet enough anymore to do play-by-play, and he had a lot of slip-ups with swapping WWE or AEW, or using "Daniel Bryan" for Danielson.

I suppose he can be a #3 with Kevin Kelly and Nigel, but that's the extent of what he offers.

I'd like to wait for Kevin and Nigel to get their feet wet as a pairing. I enjoy Excalibur, Tazz and Tony, who have built a great rapport together. Jericho is passable when he's on the crew for Rampage.
