Genesis and Yes had great three-album runs in the early 1970s.

Foxtrot, Selling England by the Pound and The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway are among the best prog rock albums of all time, and they all came out in a row (with the also-excellent “Genesis Live” mixed in).

What a great run of great music!

 

Honest to God, that's giving Whitlock too much credit. If he actually believed any of this crap, I still wouldn't read a word of it but at least he would be consistent. But he was your basic race-card player in the opposite direction until it became obvious he sucked too much at that to make money, so he switched sides solely for a paycheck. It's pathetic.

 

It's worse if he doesn't believe what he's saying.

I think the last time I thought Whitlock was OK was when he kept yammering about The Wire - so I watched it. Damn great show. I wonder if he still thinks its good?

 

This guy used to love Whitlock.
