Now that they have planted their flag, it will expand to things like not renting to gay couples on religious grounds and take off from there. This is the dream of the Federalist Society

“My religion says that two men or two women in a relationship together are an abomination; they are going to hell and if I support them in any way, my deity will also cast me in a lake of fire. Therefore, I’m not renting my property to them, and I have a First Amendment right to not do so.”

Not gonna post the link because I don't want the site to get traffic.

Actor Michael Imperioli thanked the Supreme Court on Saturday for "allowing" him to discriminate after they held that a graphic designer who creates wedding websites does not have to create them for same-sex marriages.
He also decided to "forbid bigots and homophobes" from watching his work.
"I've decided to forbid bigots and homophobes from watching The Sopranos, The White Lotus, Goodfellas or any movie or tv show I’ve been in. Thank you Supreme Court for allowing me to discriminate and exclude those who I don’t agree with and am opposed to. USA ! USA!" he wrote.
"Hate and ignorance is not a legitimate point of view," he wrote on Instagram. "America is becoming dumber by the minute."

That example has nothing to do with free speech.

That many of the posters here sound like they have no clue how the law works is fine. This guy, each time I hear him on NPR or a podcast (which is a LOT) is the most absurd, partisan reactionary out there (though to be fair, I'm not on twitter). His entire playbook is Conservative = Hitler. I forget which, but he was on with Brian Lehrer as a decision was coming down that he was screaming was evil, dishonest etc. and was soon discovered to be unanimous. This must be what it's like to watch Fox News.

Mystal is one of the many people that show up on cable news not for illuminating analysis, or insight - but simply because they will be "good TV" saying over the top things at a high volume.
And really - aren't ALL Supreme Court justices partisan plants?

A lot of things constitute “speech” within the meaning of the 1A. Pretty much any kind of expression. And a lot of things can constitute free exercise of religion as well. This court seems willing to set the parameters based on the result they want to achieve (Citizens United, the wedding website case).
