FWIW, that's pretty old news. The guy was busted a year ago, sentenced in February.

But it raises several questions for me. First, what numbskull would think that chat sites where 13-year-old girls hang out would not be populated with armies of undercover cops? Second, what 13-year-old would be attracted to a plump dad bod like the one this guy appears to inhabit? And third, even if there were 13-year-old girls out there attracted to bloated middle-aged men, how could a hookup like that not end very badly?

 

I don’t think most child predators are too worried about mutual attraction and compatibility.

 

But you'd think they'd be worried about getting busted.

 

My take on John Dutton is that he had no use for politicians of any stripe.

 

This pastor also makes the same mistake the gay-haters continue to make: citing Leviticus 20:13 as "God's word." There's no evidence God had anything to do with that or any of the ancient laws cited in that book of the Bible. They were laws made by men. The only laws God verbally laid down (if you believe in this stuff) were the 10 Commandments, which don't address homosexuality in any way.

 

As someone once said, it's hard to take seriously a book written by men who didn't know where the sun went at night.
