I was hoping for FT, China/Rider and/or St. Stephen. Otherwise I was thrilled with the setlist. And Ripple was such an appropriate song to end with, knowing it was probably the last time most of us would see them.

Agree on Ripple. Would've loved to have had that one too. Unfortunatly, I had to leave during Drums/Space because I had an early flight the next morning... sigh. But it was a great show.

Great observation. The live FF experience has been talked up to a point that it can almost never meet expectations.

I kinda get tired of Dave Grohl saying "motherfuckers" every ninth word or so, but I guess that's a feature, not a bug.

    Roll Tide, motherfuckers.

The Eagles and Donald Fagan / Steely Dan are going out.

    Can't imagine ticket prices.

Vince Gill was frontman of the PPL before leaving for his solo career.

ADD: He also became a member of the Eagles in 2017 after Glenn Frey died, and tours with them.

Jason Isbell is $300 a ticket and Steve Earle is $150. Holy shit.

The former doesn’t surprise, the latter does.

I don’t think I’ve ever paid more than $50 to see Earle, but good on him if he can get that much. I think he’s on a solo tour, which is good for him.

Saw PPL open for ZZ Top back then.

I've seen Gill with the Eagles. Did I read somewhere that Frey's kid has moved on?

I'd like to see Fagan again if he went deeper into the Dan and his solo stuff, but that ain't gonna happen.

It's a small place, a wine bar, so there is a reason for $150. Still.

I looked he’s around $100 (Canadian) at Massey Hall, a much bigger venue. I can’t make that date and I wouldn’t travel for it. If it was local I might.

I was stunned a while ago when a dual bill of Mavericks and Los Lobos was about $175.

I must say the clips I’ve seen from the Isbell tour look great. I’m hoping to pick up a single at face value.

Jason Isbell is here tomorrow night. General admission, $80 plus fees.
