The black on blue for the NL is vomit inducing.
AL is fine.
I don’t hate the light gray hats though.
Would be fine with the team unis.

 

And I get the whole booing the Astros thing, but how do you boo Dusty Baker?

 

I've spent a few years without doing too deep a dive into MLB, until this year. So I know I'm missing something. But Corey Seager and Yandy Diaz just don't feel like 4-5 in an All-Star lineup.

 

Buhner could hit 25 HR and drive in 80 tomorrow if he wanted.

 

My local Fox affiliate is off DirecTV. Wonder how many other DirecTV markets are similarly impacted.

 

The airport commercial for the all-star players was fun, "I have two Ohtanis, are you the batter Ohtani or the pitcher Ohtani?" Nice writing.

 

Late but that show put on by Ruschtmann (sp?) was awesome, turning around in the middle of the HR derby? Memorable.

 

But then there's the spot with the USWNT. Even considering the source (Fox), dreadful

Because I am old, I try my best not to lapse into being a professional sports Old Guy. But sometimes, a line gets crossed. These pathetic All-Stsr uniforms instead of guys wearing their own team uniforms, which they did last night at the Home Run Derby, just completely sucks. I am now going to listen to music and fuck this game.

 

I'd rather see them in their regular unis. But I've also seen them haul out a lot worse the past few years. They're better than most City Connect uniforms.
