    Stayed in Deep River, CT (on the Conn. River) a few weeks ago for the Wesleyan commencement. There is a statue of a small elephant outside Town Hall because the village in days of old was the epicenter of American piano key manufacturing and received imported ivory by the shipload.

    All I got.

    A ground stop at O'Hare for a tornado, even for an hour, would screw up the entire nation.
