Apparently, they're going to announce the fifth members of each team for Blood and Guts on Wednesday.

Seems pretty clear it'll be Kota Ibushi for the Elite, with Kenny making the trip a few weeks ago to talk to a friend.

From what I'm gathering, on the BCC side, it could be either of two Chris's on the AEW payroll: Jericho or Hero. Jericho being wooed by Callis (and Jericho must be involved in all the B&G matches), while Hero has a storied history with Claudio.

Sure, it ended up as a commercial for the new video game, but these MJF/Cole bits have been great.

MJF vs. Big Bill: the biggest bodyslam in the history of the business. Puts Hogan/Andre and Wee-Man/Zayn to shame.

PAC was not someone I expected to join BCC, but it's a great, fresh twist.

I like Pac as the 5th. It gives Omega an off-ramp from another round of BCC feuding and a British opponent for Wembley (if Ospreay isn’t involved).

Kinda neat that blood and guts is in the same building as WWE’s last War Games at Survivor Series

Watching the Dark Side on Adrian Adonis, and Bret Hart talking about doing coke with Adonis, Anvil, Piper, Sheik and Fuji as a WWF newbie.

I know no wrestler from the '80s was innocent, but that's not what I really expected from Bret.

Next week: the warm and fuzzy story of Abdullah the Butcher.

I think that policy is really smart just as far as making sure spots aren’t repeated in multiple matches on one show
