I've always felt that in-shower shits were far worse.

The humidity makes things way worse plus the wet skin to TP ratio is out of whack.

But feeling like everyone is being polite around you is way worse

Walked 12 holes today. Started cloudy, then the sun blazed for the last five holes or so. Not sure I would have made it a full 18 with the heat index hovering around 100. I know, it's summer, and we could have it worse. But days like these are when you really have to monitor your hydration, something I'm not always great at.

I went to bed at 1am last night. It was 98 degrees at the time.

As I type this it’s 112 and climbing.

I walk the public nine-holer here every day (tee times at the public 18-hole course, a good one in the next town over are impossible to get in July unless you want to tee off before 7 am or after 4 pm). My usual foursome tees off at 8-8:30. It's not temperature hot that much here low to mid-80s, but the dew point hasn't been below 70 for a week. Even on cloudy mornings, it's a sweatfest.

Update: it’s now 117 degrees here.
