I have no knowledge of the guidelines so I take you at your word. However, the Trump playbook is known -- delay, delay and delay. And it's only that much longer that even more Republicans will have to join in on the "it's too close to the election" whining and Trump has to churn out disinformation by the truckload. None of that has any impact on trial proceedings but does have a cumulative corrosive impact on our society at large. if a March start was considered reasonable, why are we looking hypothetically at near June?

 

At this point he only has to delay consequences for another 10 years or so. I think he can do it.
