U.S. beat Thailand 13-0 in the 2019 opener. Over-under for tonight is 6.5 goals.

Switched to the Spanish feed for the second half of Messimania. Had all the English-language tongue bathing I can stand for one night.

Had USWNT on an alternate screen when the match started. Did I miss a red card?

No. But Trinity Rodman went down in the match's first minute ... Vietnam tackle that went wrong.

But she walked off under her own power. U.S. now up 2-0 at intermission looms.

I think Ertz went back in. Andonovski didn't sub for her.

After the VAR, I will never complain about how long replay takes in baseball again.

Worse, in soccer/futbol, neither the clock nor the action are supposed to stop.

The delays stink in every sport, but IMO, it's worse in soccer.

Messi with the stoppage time winner and more fireworks in Ft. Lauderdale than at some presidential inaugurations.

... and a better turnout than at least one presidential inauguration.

U.S. women have to finish better.

Alex Morgan blew the PK in the first half.

Now Lindsey Horan misses a volley off a nice cross by Trinity Rodman.

Y'all are forgetting the other highlight of the Messi debut.
