Harris-Teeter has some really good store brand pickles, and I like their cheese shop.

Everybody loves the Mt. Olive Portable Pickle in a Pouch, but I just put Harris-Teeter pickles in a reusable zipper bag (bought at Dollar Tree).

 

It's funny in the current context, but that song has been a staple of his rotation for a long time. He and Kris Kristofferson wrote it some 40+ years ago.

I've seen Willie play about a dozen times since the mid-90s and he played it at least half of those shows.

 

The juvenile, sophomoric humor gene that makes up about 99.5 percent of my brain just burst out laughing in my living room at the mention of "pickles in a pouch" in a politics thread.

Keep it in your pants! And carry on.

 

He's awful, but he's very good at this. Trump better avoid that debate.

 

Anybody remember when SCOTUS ordered the Alabama legislature to redraw its Congressional maps to be a little less racist and the legislature defied the order?

 

Then you'll love a quick glance at the imagery on the pouch.

 

And for full disclosure, sometimes when I catch the Pickles in a Pouch on sale, I'll get them, wash and reuse the bags by putting store brand pickles in them just so onlookers won't think I'm poor/cheap. I call it smart/frugal.

 

We do that with the spicy pickle juice. Dump about half a jar of regular old dills into the hot juice to save a few bucks.
