Then come up with jokes that aren’t meant to make WASPs feel special.

How much new American culture comes from YouTube and TikTok versus Hollywood studios and record labels? It doesn’t take many clicks down those rabbit holes to find deeply disturbing content on any topic you can imagine.

A horse walks into a bar. The bartender says, Hey, why the long face?

Also works for Sarah Jessica Parker, Julia Roberts, and, well, me.

"A naked blonde walks into a bar with a poodle under one arm and a two-foot salami under the other. She lays the poodle on the table ... "

    Maybe that's a good thing.

    Whatever happened to minstrel shows?

    Times change.

I think if a writer or a comic or a show want to change or withdraw their own material - for whatever reason - they should do so.

Quite a bit. Now somebody’s picking up what I’m throwing down. Az’s “well maybe it should” standard could take out a whole lot of even what’s currently viewed as acceptable. And maybe it should!

I used to tell this one to my kids all the time when they were little and they just rolled their eyes at me lol.

If art is sanitized, it becomes largely useless.

The problem with broad, bold statements like this is that the answer is almost always "it depends." In some cases, yes. In some cases, not really. For example, when I was in high school, we watched a version of "Romeo and Juliet" that has a scene where Romeo jumps up and you see his bare ass. Would removing that scene or having him covered have rendered the entire production useless. Absolutely not. But in some cases, you could absolutely change the meaning, rendering it useless, like removing certain panels from the graphic novel "Gender Queer."

It's a nice sounding statement, but in all honesty, it's mostly bullshit. (And to be clear, I'm not for censoring things; I'm just saying the statement is overly broad, which renders it largely useless).

A size 20 ass trying to squeeze into size 10 jeans offends me more than that.

In other words, Tuesday at Walmart.
