All day, I've been thinking what an unfortunate drama it would be if Shohei got hurt today. I really hope it's very temporary.

Ohtani is hard to believe (after loving this game for my 60 yrs). 1-hitter in GM 1, then 2 HRS in nightcap. I'll put it this way, given how everyone barreled into the universal DH because of how bad Ps were hitting, if 5yrs ago you had told me there would be someone doing what Ohtani has been for 3 yrs now? Laughter would have ensued. The standard P AB was Bartolo Colon, they weren't even really doing BP. The top hitting P was who Grienke (good hitter but his BA = SLG)?

Imagine how good he would be if he had some seasoning in the minors./Never gets old.

Remember when they used to say Japanese/Asian players weren't "strong" enough to be everyday players and could only be pitchers?? Not that long ago.

I think Ichiro disproved that lame theory more than 20 years ago.

A huddle followed by an ejection? Did he need a quorum?

The guy made his point with the first pitch. He didn't need the second one.
The Cardinals' real problem is that they suck.

Oh I didn’t forget Ichiro, he was the one who started changing the view. I was referencing what they were saying around Nomo’s time.
