This Civale trade not going to go over well with Guardians fans.

Nor should it but the Twins are fucking terrible. Guardians could sell and win the division anyway, a la the Twins selling and making the wild card game in '17 (though they had the waiver deadline to play with after getting back into the race).

The Yankees didn't start Domingo German b/c of a sore armpit.

The Yankees fell behind 5-1 w/fill-starter Jhony Brito.

The Yankees brought Domingo German in to pitch the fifth inning.

The Yankees are a fucking mess.

I’m for it. Trade him while he’s not on IL, which is always one start away.

This team isn’t winning anything of note.

The problem is the Rays have fleeced Cleveland in the past…one of a couple organizations that are even more clever than them. (Jake Bauers striking out in a loop in my head.)

Funny how The a Washington National League Baseball Club LLC can win light itself on fire with sale after sale and nobody says anything. The Orioles did it in 2018 and got eviscerated for it. Interesting how that works.

Damn, it looks like Ohtani is not going to get a pitch to hit in a meaningful AB the rest of the season. He's getting the Bonds treatment nowadays.

Just another weekly example of why Aaron Boone needs to be fired. Also in today's lineup, batting Rizzo third.

Boone is overmatched and is full of shit every time he speaks, but this is Cashman's debacle. He should be up there on the podium every night answering for it.

Miggy is actually hitting .301 (31-for-103) with eight doubles since June 1. There's no home run power and he can't run, but in terms of end-stage Hall of Famers, he's not totally gone 1975 Willie Mays. His WAR is slightly below replacement level but the fan service has generally made up for it.
