The square for the Rockies 200+ strikeouts in today's grid wasn't even fair. Three answers, and I think you could've given me all night and I wouldn't have guessed any of them.

I guessed the most popular answer, only because I remember it being the best season in franchise history for a franchise nobody remembers for pitching.

Sunday's game is definitely where the rarity score goes to die -- especially in the 3,000 Ks column.

If you have any guess on the NBA from the 70s or earlier, even if it seems like the most obvious answer ever, you probably still can pull down single digits for rarity.

After I play the game the right way, I sometimes enjoy doing a second round with help from BR to see how low I can get the rarity score. I'll check a name before I plug it in, or pick a random year for whatever franchise and roll through some players. My low so far is 2.

Yeah, there are only three answers for the Nats/Expos there and all of them can also be used for either the Dodgers or Yankees. They can also be used in a couple of the other boxes as well, so if you use them there first you're kind of screwed.

Fun grid today for fans of 80s baseball. The Phillies/Cubs square has about a dozen players from that era who can probably land you <1 percent, and there are a couple of other well-known players for the other squares at less than 10 percent.

The lack of Indians/ Guardians and Cubs with 3,000 hits kept my rarity score at 67. The other seven boxes were all 3 percent or under

How do they give % numbers early in the day?

It's just based on who's played it thus far. I believe the percentages will update through the day, but your rarity score will just be based on whenever you finish.

So the first few players get %100s or %0s?

Theoretically, if you get in there at 9:00:00 Eastern, yes.
