Portugal has had a couple good opportunities already. More even than the commentators thought so far.

 

Looked like that from the get-go. Look at how aggressive the Dutch were taking the match to the U.S. Think that won't translate to a slew of goals against Vietnam in this scenario?

The U.S. - and its fans - need to concern themselves only with winning this match. Worry about what you can control. Earn your way into the knockout round first.

 

Whoever predicted a blowout just before the anthems did the U.S. no favors.
