Actually, just figured it out. Rahm Emanuel, current ambassador to Japan. He'd be perfect. It is weird when you look at most Dem leaders most in the too old, too "also from California, or also female or person of color categories - not complaining about the caucus, but balancing a ticket with Harris at the top is tough. Emanuel irritates just about every segment of the Dem coalition equally, so he'd be great.

One of the problems with the Internet and its fundraising is you get these Democrats in red states who excite Democrats in every state but the one they are trying to get elected in. So they are well-funded and gain a high profile - and lose.
