The current temp here is 105. Heat index is 112. Luckily, we have a cold front coming next week to the mid-90s.

It was in the mid-50s this morning when I took out the dog.

We're back into the 80s here and the monsoons have been kicking up the past few days.

How many of those pumps are in use for interstate travel in a given day versus people filling up for local driving? Because local “fill ups” for electrics will be taking place overnight at home versus cruising by the neighborhood Circle K.

We aren’t all the way there yet. We need more stations, a way to incentivize beefing up the network of chargers in remote and/or taxing conditions areas and a way to promote overnight charging for people who live in apartments or rely on street parking. But it is starting to come together. And there will be a robust market for used ICE vehicles years after new ones stop rolling off the lines.

It was overcast tired morning and in the upper 70s today. Down from the upper 90s this weekend. It’s supposed to be upper 90s again this weekend but temps will plummet. Can’t fully complain about this summer. That means September and October are going to be brutal.

Of course, the geographic CENTER of South America (15°S) is the latitudinal equivalent to Guatemala (15°N).

I used to think I'd be dead before it got really bad, but the Antarctic sea ice and the Gulf Stream going wonky are starting to scare me.
