    Was it Sha Na Na? I believe Hendrix was the one who pushed to get them in the show.

    Yes it was, probably the strangest band to play there. They came on at 6:45 a.m. or something like that, played for 30 minutes, then left for Hendrix.

    A law school classmate of mine was in Sha Na Na. He was in his 40s when he went to law school and just about the quietest guy you would ever meet in your life.

    According to Dave Marsh's book, Before I Get Old, The Story of The Who (the best book written about the band even if it ended with their first farewell tour in 1982), Roger Daltrey called it the worst gig they ever played.

    The video I have seen is pretty good.

    I don't know how two people have a sixty year relationship in which they hate each other.
