These two things have happened this morning, and it's just 8:30.
1. Old guy at the park asks me, "Do you teach that woke history?" "I teach historical facts. How someone interprets them is up to them. The main thing I teach is for kids to think for themselves, don't believe conspiracy theories on Tik Tok, and most importantly don't listen to what their cable news-watching grandpas tell them because it's probably bullshit." He looked like I hit him between the eyes with a 2x4.
2. Got a text from another old guy who wouldn't know a midfielder from a corner kick essentially saying it was good for the USWNT to lose "because of the way they treated the flag."

We are in a post reality world.

 

Can’t wait for NYT Pitchbot to put out “Why the USWNT’s loss is bad for Biden.”

And it shouldn’t.
