And the "NASCAR is Woke!" bleats have begun on social media per the Gragson decision.

It's like using a howitzer to kill a fruit fly -- just pull the kid to the side at Michigan this weekend and say "hey, we saw that post; don't do stupid shit like that again" -- but then again, NASCAR, the sponsor and the team probably have responsibility clauses in place that drivers must sign.

Bringing attention to something that most fans would never have known only made it blow up worse. The noose deal at Talladega -- that turned out to be a rope handle for the roll-up door -- only made the screech machine louder.

I agree that the indefinite suspension is a little overkill on this one. If he created or even reposted/retweeted/whatever it, that would be a little different. Just because someone hit the like button, it's probably unnecessary.
And the real crime in all this is we've gotten to the point where people are combing the likes and ratting out someone who isn't even particularly well known!
It's not like Tom Brady posted a picture of himself in blackface on his own social media account.

I'm watching the IMSA race at Road America. I say this knowing I never will, but I'd like to go see a race there.
The track looks awesome. People are just sitting under trees in areas sponsored by local civic groups. The concession state seemed legit.
A woman I worth with's husband does some sort of SCCA racing or something, and they went up there a few weeks ago for an event, and she loved it.

Up there in journalism history with Woodward being told to go to a court hearing about a break-in at the Watergate.

I grew up going to races at Road America. We always sat in Canada Corner. It was awesome. Haven’t been in 20+ years tho.

The Nashville Indy race wasn't bad.

The Nashville race was pretty cool looking.. I wish Boston could have a road course, but the shitty streets probably keep it from happening.

I cannot imagine a course that'd work, although the race would certainly be the ultimate test for pit crews. Send the field down the Riverway and see who makes it to Jamaica Pond.

I don’t even like NASCAR, but even I know he’s an HOFer. Realistically, that should be kind of the standard, right? People who don’t follow your sport know you’re great … seems like better criteria than whatever minutiae would have caused that many people to not vote for him.
