He still has his passport. He still has his plane. There’s nothing stopping him from leaving the country and never coming back.

That they may use 2000 Miles as evidence is laughable.

Trump's lawyer once represented Tim Donaghy.
Trump's lawyer once represented a Florida man who refused to pay for an entree (Shrimp and scallop verduro) at an Italian restaurant because it didn't have enough seafood on it.
Trump's lawyer then told the jury that verduro means "true" in Italian. It actually means "vegetable."

Thoughts and prayers for Trumpists and their further attempts to restrict or kill as many women as they can.

In ruby red Ohio. Funny, even they don't want rights taken away. Dems have to take advantage (again) of the issue in 2024. Front and center. The vast majority of Americans hate the ruling of the (illegitimate) SCOTUS and all the crap that has come after. The trumplicans lied (again), with "just send it back to the states." Total bullshit.

Now, as always, it's nobody's fucking business so stay out of it.

Voters in Arkansas rejected a similar measure. Once the new legislature was seated, they passed a law anyway.

The thing is, as awful as trump has been, it's going to get so much worse now. I don't know what the answer is. He'll defy the court because he's never been held accountable for anything in his life. But the judges I'm sure don't want to use a gag order or indeed "lock him up" because of the election (the reason he's running is so he can be the victim, of course).

Sounds like what Florida did, if I recall correctly, with restoring voting rights after felons served their time.

The trumplicans really dislike the will of the people.

A judge's job is to follow the law. There's not a convicted criminal in jail who doesn't spend every waking hour wailing about how unfair it all was.

Florida voters have rejected the lege’s attempts to restrict their right to amend the state Constitution twice. This seems to perplex the legislative GOP drones to no end.
