Not that I ever expected them to address their banished brethren, but the gag order is clearly in place for the MASN pregame show before O's-Astros. Just another day in the neighborhood.

Ryan Mountcastle just launched a Framber Valdez curveball 472 feet.

But they are down a bunch of pitchers who put them on that pace. Probably gave themselves enough of a cushion, tho.

Kyle Tucker culminates a great at-bat with a full-count grand slam off Felix Bautista. 7-6 Astros going into bottom 9.

Yeah, and that's the kind of loss where you wonder if you're going to be pointing at it later as a turning point.

As much as I'd like to ascribe to the bad juju theory, Bautista is human, and there's a 1-in-10 chance that a power hitter absolutely connects on 101 mph down the middle. The general result will not be favorable for the pitcher in that situation. I'm going to wait on the season turning point stuff. Felix had given up one earned run since May 23 before that at-bat last night. Shit happens. But I'm willing to check back in a week and revisit if things start to go south.
