Mike Brice writes for The Toledo Blade. The Toledo Blade owns a relatively recent (about 10 years or so ago) win against the United States Department of Defense for violating the Privacy Protection Act when military police illegally seized cameras from two of their journalists. I find it strange for a Blade reporter to make that statement.

I doubt the Marion PD cares about those out-of-town news orgs, either. They will care about the spotlight that's about to be shined on them. They're also going to care about the lawsuit that is coming their way.

Privacy Protection Act cases are rare because, as I mentioned on the other thread, these kind of blatant violations of it are rare. Usually someone in the process intervenes and they go the subpoena route.

What people can’t get through their heads is that Trump wants a judge to sanction him. He will be more and more outrageous because it’s his superpower and, except for Sandwiches, the people running against him will have to support him because they are in too deep, which weakens each one of them.
