Orange Julius is giddy to be a martyr if he gets locked up for 48 hours with all the Diet Cokes and Fox News he wants.

He won't be so much if it's 5-6 months to his adjudication.

Mayo goes rancid over a short time.

I've said this for a few weeks: He wants to get locked up. It plays to his narrative that it's a "witch hunt" and his political rivals will do anything to get him out of the race. He'll rake in $25 million if they jail him.

Why do you go for the trap?

Because that's where the cheese is.

If he actually ended up in a facility, he'd be like the "fish" who gets killed his first night at Shawshank. I'd give him 12 hours max in a holding cell before he breaks down and screams for his mommy, because at least in my situation, there were no windows, no TV and just one payphone. And they brought you a bag lunch with water. It gets really quiet in there by yourself, hour after hour.

Gen pop is actually a relief after that because you've got some room to move around and other inmates to converse with. And one TV high on the wall that the guards control. But it's really loud in there -- those concrete walls and floors echo every noise. I could never calm my brain because it was a constant racket, even at night with the guards doing hourly rounds and slamming those thick steel doors.

My guess is the closest he'll come to confinement will be house arrest with the ankle bracelet. Even then, the judge would be balancing the possibility of mistrial because of Trump's "campaigning." But she could clamp down a lot harder on his BS if he pushes the envelope.

If this was a Twilight Zone episode, he'd me condemned for eternity in an endless hall of records, fruitlessly searching for a birth certificate.

The confinement that would work is to put him in the middle of an Army base, in a barracks surrounded by a security fence and a few armed guards. It's not like he's going to tunnel out or make a run for it. He can play poker with his Secret Service detail.

Screw that ankle bracelet and Mar A Lago BS.
