How the hell could he not get ANY money from that movie? Nothing at all? C'mon.

I also have no idea how he's using the word ignorant.

And he didn't think to check on it until after he retired because he was too busy?

Have a close relative who has/had a business relationship (they did deals together or considered doing deals together) with Sean Thuoy.

A couple of years back, we were at a family gathering and The Blind Side came on TV. Unsolicited, he said, "This story is the biggest load of fucking horseshit that's ever been. Knowing what a slimy bastard this guy is, I don't believe a word of this warm, fuzzy story."

    So not a surprise.

Looks like Daniel Tosh was right — that the message of the film was “Kidnapping CAN be profitable!”

A Tosh reference! Whatever happened to that guy?

    Exactly.
There are two issues here. The family and the intricacies of movie rights, which have always confounded me.
Do victims of crime memorialized in books or movies ever get paid? Is it something on which you have to act quickly? Curious.

And I thought the biggest cinematic sin in this one was making Sandra Bullock a blonde.

I have no idea, but his old standup clips are all over Pandora’s comedy stations!

I remember thinking he was smarmy as shit, but that's a great line about The Blind Side. Maybe I'll YouTube him tonight!

    1. You can throw behind his ear next time up.

    2. Nothing. Just putting it out there, and I thought it was germane to the discussion.
