At least it's not an inferno match.

 

There have been some great bits to come out of this whole campaign Chelsea has done to find a new partner.

 

Well, one way to become a tag team champion is to just declare yourself as one, as Piper Niven just did.

 

Becky and Trish did what they could, but this might be the peak of the concourse brawls (the competitor aside). Especially with Dusty's epic commentary.

Hard to say I wasn't expecting this, though I think her contract just ran out in this case. There's just way too many women on the roster with very few opportunities behind the upper card. You've got Tegan Nox and Xia Li riding the pine, Piper Niven was before last night, Dana Brooke is back in NXT.

Lacey had some promise, but they kept jerking her back and forth between face and heel so much, it would make Big Show take notice.

 

Wow. Stadium Stampede at Wembley with a full house of more than 80K.

BCC and friends vs. Kingston, Luchas, Best Friends (and Orange?)

That was excellent. And then MJF/Cole tapping Outback, Crocodile Dundee and the Crocodile Hunter to prepare for Aussie Open? That's like going to McDonald's to prepare for Sheamus and Finlay.

THEN, we have Tony Khan going postal, Roddy kicking the tire of the car and the Kingdom telling him to "shake it off" in a callback to Taylor Swift from last week.

Between Joker Sting and all that followed, that was an excellent 10 minutes or so of comedy.

 

Lots of setup, but only two matches in an hour and 15? Yeesh.

 

But that Chainsaw shill-fest? Yuck.

Though it would've been great if Terry Funk was in better shape and revealed himself under the mask of Leatherface.

 

Ten bucks says Luchasaurus was under the mask.
