Better. But why not? I don't see that anyone else has asked them, and all these people cannot possibly think there are no questions to be asked. Now, whether you like the questions is another matter. But, as a reporter, I wouldn't care about that.

And, if you're going to worry about subtexts in everybody's posts -- no, make that, specifically, my posts -- I could do the same with you on the basis of your posting history --- like, you assume certain things, and just "know" certain things, because this story happens to involve a black person and a white person. But I try not to do that.

Clearly, something has happened, recently, to change Oher's thoughts, knowledge, and MO in how he acts, and I'd like to know what that is, and how it came about, and how this could possibly be the first time any questions have come up in his, or his lawyers' minds, if indeed that is the case.

Do you really want me to answer that? I will if you do. And if you want to find subtext in my posts, go for it.

Michael Lewis appeared gobsmacked (as did the filmmakers) that it is very impordant to have big strong talented men in the combat zone at the line of scrimmage.

I can feel bad, and disappointed and disillusioned that they lied about adopting him and putting him under a conservatorship when he was young without him, apparently, really understanding what that meant, and still wonder if he really needs to do what he's doing now, and wonder why he would do it in this way, with threats of public, purposeful outing and the complete destruction of a relationship that ever might've warranted a fairy-tale movie, which his life story kind of did.

And, as I said, I'd be going after the lawyer that allowed this to happen, particularly as Oher got older and began having his own success and his own life. But Oher should have been watching out for those things, and his own interests, too. Long before this point, he couldn't possibly have not known he wasn't adopted, could he? And wouldn't that have led to other questions and actions on his own behalf before now?

I also would contend that if I had millions, no, I don't think I'd have to be making threats over millions more unless I was just deciding to do so, anyway. So, yes, I think what he has now MAY be relevant in terms of speaking to motive. It may not be relevant in terms of how the Touhys acted in the past with regard to any "adoption," and conservatorship. But in terms of need, yes, it absolutely could be, as are the terms, facts and extent of the conservatorship.

But, what happened when you were 18 doesn't have to be the same thing that occurs when you're 22, or 25, or 30, or 35; conversely, whatever facts there are now also don't necessarily have to completely negate what might've happened when you were 10 or 12 or 15 or 20, either. This story goes both ways, and I think that's what has people wondering and especially disappointed.

I don't care what you do. I don't know you, you don't know me, and I don't control what you do.

One of the ridiculous formulaic things in these football movies is the little kid who knows everything about the game- even more than coaches or players.

Did anyone learn anything about football from The Blind Side? No, I didn't either.

Whitlock has absolutely perfected the Uncle Ruckus/Stepin Fetchit song and dance routine. Any time there's any situation in which white people MAY HAVE (never mind whether proven or not) taken advantage of, profited from or exploited black people, up jumps Whitlock to tell us all how they're probably better off anyway, and probably deserved it, and everybody just needs to quit getting so uppity about it.

I forgot that Whitlock was Clarence, Thomas’s cousin. I see the resemblance now.
