I covered an event where she was at a couple of months after this happened. She was absolutely miserable to be around and was absolutely miserable to everyone she encountered.

I've never had a bad experience w/Keith and his world view is just fine by me, but I think even his biggest detractors would have to acknowledge he is uncommonly honest & self-aware for a well-known person. The most notable thing about Mike Freeman's awful book on ESPN was how Keith was the only person to whom he spoke whose stories/recollections/etc were 100% accurate following a fact check.

    I love that Olbermann line.

An early 40s Sage Steele (height: 5-foot-11), whose father attended the U.S. Military Academy, was scared by the octogenarian Barbara Walters (5-foot-5) who probably weighed 100 lbs. soaking wet. Bullshit, unless Barbara was carrying around a 50 lb. bag.

Funny, they had a pretty good pregame show host. Wonder what happened to her.

I'm a huge NFL fan, but I couldn't give two shits about any pre or postgame show.
But I am a big fan of SVP sportscenters. Any time devoted to other projects takes away time from the only useful sportscenter.

The late nite suits him, I don't need to see him at 7:30 p.m. in the big pregame yuk-yuks. But might as well bank a few more mil and it's not like he's gonna be flying coach from the Sunday night SC to MNF.
