With the death of any sort of gatekeepers who will tell you that someone is full of shit and a society who doesn’t even click on the link in the Tweet to accept something as the gospel, then extreme snake oil salesmen who say crazy things will get more and more traction in our politics.

 

Vivek is the guy in the dorm your freshman year whom you banish during NHL 93 on the PlayStation after two Bud Lights because he just won’t shut up about anything and everything.

 

He's a young, hotshot business guy with the personality to match - brash, overconfident, believes he has the answer to everything. Great as a young entrepreneur to start or help build a company, or might come in and try something crazy to turn around a failing old company. I'm sure he's very smart. But he has so little real-life experience, seemingly zero humility, and the biggest red flag of all, was the most vehement in support of Trump last night.

I imagine his true goal is to be Trump's VP or get a cabinet post. He has to know that him winning a national election as a Republican is a massive uphill climb with the current voter base.
