The right wing politicians and media think that there has only been one truly evil mass shooting. Mentioning any other one is just politicizing a tragedy.

This is DeSantis offering his weak-ass shit at a prayer vigil -- despite the fact that he couldn't bring himself to denounce Nazi assholes openly demonstrating in Orlando and Jacksonville earlier this year.

    So ...

The state has a GOP supermajority that has spent all its time making the Democratic governor's life as miserable as humanly possible. And that was after the former governor, Pat McCrory, foreshadowed his lord and savior, and refused to hand over power with any modicum of class or decency ... yet he lost because he signed that disgusting Bathroom Bill. Even some the conservatives were so disgusted – or didn't like that it cost the state billions and surely some of them individually some money as well – that they wouldn't vote Republican.

Also, Congress teased Medicaid expansion, and won't pass a budget, which takes the expansion off the table (repeat after me ... the only reason they were willing to listen was because the feds were willing to hand them some money as a result. It's not because they suddenly care about anyone).

So about gun control, GOP ... you just witnessed a shooting at what is always presented as the flagship university. Your move.
