Is there any, repeat any evidence Biden's age has affected his performance in office except that it has made his lifelong efforts to control his stutter more difficult? Or is it just the public's unease about their own mortality?

Well, many members of the Senate were around for a long, long years, stole many a man's soul and faith.

What evidence do you have that he’s senile?

Nothing, that’s what you have. Nothing.

Well, I think, in this instance, maybe we're more uneasy about Biden's mortality than our own.:)

To be clear, I think Biden has done a good job. I just think he's too old to be running for President again. He has stumbled, stuttered and slurred more lately than he had been doing a couple of years ago, and I'm sure his age is a factor in all of that. I don't see things getting better. Things like that, not to mention hearing, vision and cognitive functions like memory, comprehension and reasoning, don't get better, only worse, as people age. It's the unfortunate truth and reality, and our government needs to address it.

I look at it this way: We have some quite elderly people at my Walmart store about whom others question whether they should be there, still working, even in the easiest positions (not that there are many of those) for various reasons.

And they're not the President of the U.S. And, I think only one of them is even as old as Biden.

This country needs someone younger in the presidency. The population is living longer and getting older all the time, so it's an issue that should be addressed -- in a way that, hopefully, would preclude a President actually becoming seriously feeble or infirm while in office.

I think SP would agree with you. Give his post another read.

I did. I read it three or four times before I replied to it, and I even made sure he wasn’t responding to someone I have on ignore. His post seemed pretty straightforward to me.

He's taken lessons in self incrimination on television from Trump.

There are reasons why she is so beloved by her peers.
