Yeah, last night was really a waste for anyone who purchased an overpriced night session ticket.

Venus is highly educated and apparently a savvy businesswoman. Don't get why she still needs this.

The Kenin match was pretty good! I'm very surprised she's even playing so soon after her injury.

While searching the Open stands for celebrities, ESPN ran a chyron identifying Anna Wintour as former Vogue editor-in-chief. Not yet. As my wife said seeing it, "there goes somebody's invitation to the Met Gala."

Caroline Smurfniacki and Kvitova seem to be as listless as the crowd. Maybe it’s the full moon.

It has not been a great year for Tsitsipas. Out in Round 2 with a loss to a Swiss qualifier named Dominic Stricker.

This Zhang guy might soon be my new favorite player.

I agree on a lot of the Venus stuff. Reminded me a little of Rocky Balboa, the first “modern” Rocky movie where Duke admits he’ll never stay with his opponent on stamina or defense, so he just builds “hurtin’ bombs.”

She (hopefully) doesn’t need this but Martina Navratilova hung around in various capacities well into the 1990s and even the 2000s. Lost the Wimbledon final at 37, won a main draw singles match at Wimbledon at 47, and was winning doubles Slams up to her 50th birthday.

Just looking at the stats -- 48 aces for Isner. But he's lost a step. His first serve only averaged 120 mph.

John was a bit of a bomber at times but his biggest advantage was angle and placement rather than power.
