The names on the back of the jersey keep changing, but as long as it says “Nebraska” on the front …

I’m enjoying this way too much!

I am several miles south of Sun Devil Stadium and we're getting slammed by a dust storm that is moving north. Could be nuts there momentarily.

Gators are off and running to a 4-7 season and I'm loving every minute of it.

Florida thought it was getting Graham Mertz. Instead it got Fred Mertz.

Utah is not very good offensively without Rising.

Gophers and Bugeaters have awful quarterbacks. I think Ruhle was the best off-season hire in college football and I greatly respect anyone who could win 10 games at Temple but it's not gonna make me like Nebraska. The arrogance of Scott Frost has permanently poisoned them to me.

    UAB over NC A&T 35 - 6.

31 first downs. 8-10 on third down. 38-41 passing, 291 yards. 3 TDs. 0 ints, 1 fumble. Five penalties for 45 yards (inc the jersey thing). 160 yards rushing. 458 total yards.

Yeah, it's a body bag game against a FCS team, so it's essentially meaningless - but the offense looked pretty good. QB play was excellent.

A&T went 2-8 passing for 17 yards, ran for 147 on 41 attempts. Defense looks eh, ok. Line and DB's are fine, LB's seem small and are young. Won't be pretty when we play Georgia.

The new rule, not stopping the clock on passing first downs except in the last two minutes, works just fine. Halves went by quickly, partly because they had zero success passing and ran all the time.

Decent opener. Georgia Southern next Saturday, we'll learn a little more. Lovely night for football for sure.

A game delayed by a sandstorm is a first for me. Which means it's right on point for the 2020s.
