Pleased to get an under-the-radar win in East Hartford that, 12 months ago, would have been considered a disappointment if they didn't win by 50.

Some ugly spots, but 1-0 with a road win. Moving forward ...

If I were the ref in the ASU-SU game, I would have given the ASU kicker an unsportsmanlike conduct for the second flop.

Florida got exactly the Graham Mertz it though it was getting, based on his previous three years of playing the position.

Went to bed with Nebraska up 7 and driving halfway through the 4Q - that will teach me to not believe in them.

At least they had 24 hours worth of good feelings from the volleyball ...

The Dust Bowl is the one exception to Arizona State’s bowl ban.

    Heard or read nothing yet.

Before he was carted off, they said he had feeling in his extremities. The thing I found strange clinically is they had his head in an immobilizer and he was strapped down ... yet his jersey and shoulder pads were already off, and his lid wasn't on, either. Usually, with head and neck trauma, the only thing that ends up off is the face mask, which is usually removed with tools while still on the player's head.

    Thanks for asking.

I thought Trent Dilfer was a boomerish, tough guy, detest-the-participation trophy kind of guy. This is a silly look.

I liked Rickey Foggie a few years ago.

Linemen don't have shoulder pads that big anymore.
