This game summed up in one play.

SEC 0-3 in actual games that matter.

Greg Sankey will make sure Florida knows it's not to play OOC games outside of Florida for the next 32 years.

Not that it ended up mattering, but that's the play I was talking about.

Given recent performance, Florida may not be the fourth-best team in its state for the next 32 years.

(The Gators are scheduled to visit Cal in 2027, Arizona State in 2028 and Colorado in 2029. I'm guessing those are now at the whim of whatever affiliations exist by then.)

Already canceled. and replaced with Mercer and Middle Tennessee.

    Cal remains on the schedule.

Well, that's an ACC school like FSU and Miami, so it really shouldn't count.

Deion’s reaction, post-game, signifies why he will, at best, be on the Mike Leach track door wherever he can go.

With Leach, it never ended well (truly, never ended well). He’ll be delegated to outposts. In the SEC, that means he’ll get Mississippi State, South Carolina, maybe a Tennessee if they’re back where they were five years ago.

He will need a truly desperate program. Road House was on the other night and those are the places that will take Deion. The Double Deuces of college football.

Ohio State’s fanbase’s outrage at winning by 20 points never fails to entertain me.

Indiana usually has one of those games every couple years where they don’t embarrass themselves at home against Brutus or Michigan.

IU actually had Ohio State up against it im the Horseshoe a few years ago. But the thought that they’d win it? I’ve seen or covered about 100 games in that stadium and the only time I ever felt that Ohio State was in real trouble against a heavy underdog in that stadium was that Juice Williams Illinois game and that weird Navy overtime game where Jim Tressel refused to embarrass the troops —turning the entire pre-game into a salute to his opponent— and almost lost.

I liked a lot of what he said but the "sweetheart" and "baby" thing's gonna bite him in the ass.
