I work at one of the universities that is hosting an 11 a.m. game on Saturday. The parking garage nearest my building closes to all non-football parking at 6 p.m. Thursday. That means all students who have paid to park in that garage have to move their cars until after the game on Saturday, lest they be towed and cited. And since I can't park anywhere close to my building on Friday, my classes will not meet.

I am stunned the voters didn't move Texas up so it would be hyped as a top 10 matchup

The reference to the tenure of a former coach is tremendous.

Somehow this gem of a game was left out:

Hawkeyes managed to go from ranked to unranked despite winning their opener.

I think a few East Coast voters watched Nebraska at Minnesota and realized, "Oh, Iowa's in THAT B1G division ..."
