Anyone buying Mitch's "diagnosis?" Shoot medical info regarding political leaders has been bogus since Washington, and certainly with FDR, JFK etc. Maybe the truth is that Mitch isn't human - it was just his brain buffering.

Interesting. Why was in Baltimore on Jan. 6, and not D.C.? And how did he spend his day? Inner Harbor? The Aquarium? Maybe the casino?

 

I had a thought along these lines when watching national network news covering the GOP candidates in New Hampshire around Labor Day. Every shot on candidates talking to supporters is shot so tightly on the candidate, or 1-on-1 with people. For example, Pence had a mic and speakers set up to speak to people. It was obvious this was arranged. How large - or small - was the crowd? I know this gets into overcovering Trump rallies, but if there were just a smattering of people surrounding Pence or Vivek, maybe those pictures say a few thousand words more about how people really feel.

I know they all want to horse-race this, but if Pence has an obvious gathering set up with AV, etc., but there are only 15-20 people clustered around, isn't that part of the story, too? Hell, the only story among this group is that Trump is polling way ahead. So is there genuine interest there, or not?
