37 miles per day!?! My office is less than 6 miles from my house and I gripe about having a long commute. That’s because my last three jobs were all less than a mile away. (That’s how my 2006 TJ only has 95,000 miles on it.)

 

One of my jobs is 11 blocks away, easily walkable or bikeable if the weather is good. The other job is literally 3 feet from my bed.

I'd guess a lot more people fall into the "there's really no way to stop it as soon as scientists insist we need to stop it in an energy-dependent world growing by 1,200,000 humans every week" camp than the "It's just a hoax! It's not happening!" camp.

Both are called "climate deniers," however.
