One of the whole crop of mid-Seventies classic films I have never seen.

I saw Marooned in late 1969, then Blazing Saddles in 74, Animal House in 78; Star Wars in 77, Superman The Movie in 78.
Those were basically all the movies I saw in theaters in the Seventies.

i caught up with most of the big franchises later on on home video, but to this day I've never seen The Deer Hunter, Dog Day Afternoon, Chinatown, Apocalypse Now or any of the Jaws movies.

I've never seen any James Bond movie in its entirety, although I have seen bits and pieces on cable.

Oh, watch Jaws now. Do yourself a favor. A perfect popcorn flick that's so much better than that.

    The acting is immense.

Pretty sure the body count equaled the first two combined.

Naked Gun 33 1/3; I will never tire of Leslie Nielson. Wife cringes hearing my cackles ringing through the house.

Not a movie, but last night I watched the series finale of How To With John Wilson.

    “How To Track A Package”

I had never seen a single episode of this show and wasn’t familiar with any of Wilson’s prior work.

That episode went a lot of directions that were sometimes funny, sometimes very observant and thoughtful, and sometimes disturbing AF.

    Sheesh. No spoilers.

Though I am curious as to what others think of this work.

Left me thinking WTAF did I just watch?

Watched the first 20 mins of Skinamarink and its the first time I've ever watched the start of a movie that long and openly wondered "WTF is going on????" I then turned it off. But I'm going to go back since it has gotten such great reviews. Still puzzling.

Enjoyed the docuseries "The Big Conn" on AppleTV+. Ep 3 drags a little, but it's a great fun true crime doc of a corrupt Kentucky attorney, Social Security and the Wall Street Journal.

The Indianapolis scene alone is worth the price of admission. If I ever had to bring something to an audition, I'd want to do that or Walken's watch scene in Pulp Fiction, little man. Little man.

Although Quint's tale isn't exactly accurate.

Saw “To Live and Die in L.A.” On the big screen.

Fun, a little campy, I’d forgotten what a great actor Dafoe is.
