Remember … one of the people who was fine with Solich’s firing following a nine-win season - and was publicly all but celebrating it - was Trev Alberts, now the AD in Lincoln.

He retired due to a cardiovascular issue, so I’m going to say no.

All the Nebraska defender had to do was grab the guy, hold on and let the clock expire. Instead they just gave Colorado a gift FG.

    Boo.

As in, “Hey … Boo … is this under warranty?”

Pack wasn’t using their side of it anyway.

Could be wrong but think it might be Eric Collins.
It would be a fairly quick drive from K.C. Kan. for Kevin Harlan to go over and give Collins pointers [crossthread].

The Titanic is sinking so I couldn’t care less what the band wears while it does.

Oh, I know. He’s quite happy just helping Tim Albin.

Steve Pederson has the distinction of ruining not one, but two football programs. He fired Solich and said he refused to let the program “gravitate towards mediocrity.” The canning led to three decades of this for Nebraska. Then he got rehired at Pitt and fired Wannstedt, with no actual replacement plan in place. This led to three coaches in five years until adults were brought in to stabilize things.

Lots to yap about from Boulder.

So cringy when the FOX team is calling him “Coach Prime”.

The halftime show was horrible. They just needed any anchor and Brady Quinn. The others on that set are useless.

The way the media made Jeff Sims sound when he was at Georgia Tech, it sounded like he was the only reason they weren’t going 0-12 every year he was there. What… happened?
