    I was a bigger fan of Julie Taylor actually - or Tammie Taylor, My goodness that show had Jurnee Smollett and Alicia Witt too.

    My claim to fame in my family was almost hopping out of my dad’s powder blue Cutlass Supreme convertible as it was moving at the age of three.

    At 4, I climbed into my uncle's car, stood up at the steering wheel, pulled the column shifter down into neutral and rolled the car downhill almost into the side wall of the local Methodist church right after Sunday services. Uncle somehow got there and dove into the car in time.

    To my credit, though, I steered that beast straight and true all the way. The crowd went wild.

    Grandma had the black vinyl top, same chalky powder blue color.

    3500 lb car with a giant 350 V-8 making . . . 180 HP.
